1. Overview and Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and participation in Creator Connect Austin ("we," "us," or "our"), including our website at creatorconnectaustin.com, in-person meetup events, email communications, and online community hosted on Skool (collectively, the "Services").
By submitting an application, attending an event, accessing our website, or participating in our community in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use or participate in our Services.
Creator Connect Austin is operated in the State of Texas.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to apply for or participate in Creator Connect Austin. By submitting an application or participating in any of our Services, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older. We reserve the right to terminate membership immediately upon discovering that a member does not meet this requirement.
3. Membership and Application
Participation in Creator Connect Austin begins with a completed application. Submitting an application does not guarantee membership or admission to any event. We review applications in batches and reserve the right to approve or decline any applicant at our sole discretion, for any reason or no reason, without obligation to provide an explanation.
Approved members will receive instructions for attending their first in-person meetup. Access to our online community (hosted on Skool) is granted only after attending an in-person meetup.
We reserve the right to suspend or revoke membership at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to a violation of these Terms, conduct we deem harmful to the community, or inactivity. No refund or compensation of any kind will be owed upon revocation of membership.
4. Code of Conduct
By participating in Creator Connect Austin, you agree to:
- Treat all members, guests, and organizers with respect and professionalism at all times
- Keep confidential any personal, financial, or business information shared by other members in the context of the community, unless you have been explicitly given permission to share it
- Refrain from unsolicited selling, pitching, recruiting, or solicitation of other members
- Represent yourself and your work honestly
- Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws during your participation
We reserve the right to remove any participant from an event or revoke membership without prior notice for conduct that we, in our sole judgment, determine to be harmful, disruptive, harassing, discriminatory, or otherwise inconsistent with the spirit of the community.
5. Events and In-Person Meetups
Event details — including date, time, and location — are shared exclusively with approved members. Attendance is voluntary and at your own risk.
Creator Connect Austin is not responsible for any incidents, accidents, injuries, property damage, theft, or losses of any kind that occur during or in connection with our events. By attending, you assume full responsibility for your own safety and wellbeing.
We reserve the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify any event at any time without liability. RSVPs are managed through a members-only link. If you are unable to attend after RSVPing, we ask that you update your RSVP promptly.
6. No Earnings or Results Guarantee
Creator Connect Austin is a peer community, not a coaching program, business advisory service, or income opportunity. We make no representations, warranties, or guarantees of any kind regarding business outcomes, revenue growth, audience growth, partnerships, or any other results from participation in our community.
Any results, wins, or outcomes shared by members — including during meetup segments such as the Money Circle or Recognition — represent individual experiences and are not typical. Your results will vary based on your own effort, experience, and circumstances.
Nothing shared in our community constitutes financial, legal, tax, or business advice. Always consult qualified professionals before making business decisions.
7. Intellectual Property
Any content you share within Creator Connect Austin — including in meetups, the online community, or via email — remains your property. By sharing it, you grant Creator Connect Austin a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reference or highlight your content internally for community purposes, such as recognizing member achievements, unless you request otherwise.
Creator Connect Austin retains all rights to its own content, branding, website, materials, formats, and community structure. You may not reproduce, distribute, or repurpose any Creator Connect Austin materials without our prior written consent.
8. Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. Our collection and use of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, available at creatorconnectaustin.com/privacy. By using our Services, you consent to the practices described in that policy.
By joining, you also consent to receiving emails from Creator Connect Austin related to membership, meetup logistics, and community updates. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions included in our emails.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CREATOR CONNECT AUSTIN EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that our website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information provided through our Services.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CREATOR CONNECT AUSTIN AND ITS ORGANIZERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND REPRESENTATIVES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR PARTICIPATION IN OUR SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Creator Connect Austin and its organizers, representatives, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your participation in our Services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party; or (d) any content you share within the community.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or your participation in Creator Connect Austin shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you hereby consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
Before initiating any legal action, you agree to first contact us in good faith at info@creatorconnectaustin.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible. The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
14. No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver of a provision must be made in writing and signed by us to be effective.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Creator Connect Austin regarding your participation in our Services and supersede any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
16. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify active members via email. Your continued participation in our Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
